Most classes still have openings. Those that are full are: English 2, English ¾, Biology, and Test & College Prep.
Some openings may become available in these classes after students presently registered confirm their class selections in mid July. Look for an updated list of class openings at the end of July.
Assessments
Late Registration is scheduled for 11:00 to 12:00 AM on August 9th. Math and English assessments will be administered from 8:00 to 11:00 AM that same morning. All students new to math and English at BUAC must complete assessments prior to registering. Those planning to take Chemistry who have not satisfactorily completed Algebra 1 and Geometry at BUAC must also take a math assessment. Assessments will begin at 8:00 AM and end promptly at 11:00, so plan to come at 8:00 to allow ample time for completion and evaluation of your work before you register. Each assessment takes approximately 1 hour, but some students may need to complete additional assessments depending on their initial performance.

Changing your schedule?
~ If you decide to make changes in your "MY BUAC Schedule" that you received at Registration on May 10th, you must come to Late Registration on August 9th and pay the additional $30 Late Registration Fee.
~ If you decide to make a change in your "MY BUAC Schedule" that you received at Registration on May 10th, as a result of math or English assessments on August 9th, these changes will be made for you directly following the assessment(s) and there will be no additional late registration fee.
~ If you are on a class waiting list following Registration on May 10th, and a spot opens up for you, you will be contacted by the end of July and given the opportunity to claim that spot. You will also be given a date by which your tuition check must be mailed in order to secure your place in the class. If your check is not mailed by the given date, then your spot will be given to the next person in line. Please do not contact us regarding your place on a waiting list. We will contact you if a class opens to you.
Click on Late Registration Information and Procedures to download a document with detailed instructions pertaining to the registration process. Then click on each of the remaining links to download and print the 4 required forms. Fill them out and bring them, along with your non-refundable $80 registration fee and individual course tuition checks to BUAC Core Late Registration on August 9th. If you are unable to print the forms, you may purchase a packet of forms for $10 at Registration.
~ You will only be permitted to register for classes that do not conflict in the time schedule. There are two exceptions to this rule: US History and Algebra 2 which are noted on the class selection form and conflicting classes for which you have written permission from both instructors to work out an arrangement to take their courses simultaneously.
~ Students will be limited to 2 nonconsecutive study halls on Tuesdays and 1 on Thursdays. The only exception to this will be those students who have an additional study hall every other week on Thursdays when they are not in US History or Physics during the 10:00 hour. They should, however, register for this additional study hall and expect to pay for it at half the cost of a weekly study hall.
